ContentGrow offers free content to tech marketers in Singapore
The freelance talent network and workflow app for content teams is running a limited giveaway for marketers and PR pros in Singapore's tech and VC space.
Earlier today, ContentGrow, a managed freelance talent network and workflow app for global content teams, announced that for a limited time it is offering a free story to marcomms professionals at Singapore-based tech companies (e-marketplaces, SaaS, AI, fintech, venture capital, etc). The giveaway is limited to those who sign up on ContentGrow's platform.
Clients on ContentGrow use it to source all things written – be it blog posts, press releases, news articles, copywriting, and more. Launched in 2019 by former tech journalists, the app's team custom-matches each new client with project-appropriate writers.
"We understand that high-quality freelance writers and journalists are always sought after. But their availability is fluid and content teams need to constantly refresh their rosters. This is what ContentGrow can offer on an ongoing basis – the ability to guarantee that content teams have deep enough freelance talent pools, on demand," explains CEO Leighton Cosseboom.
The app is a digital environment for vetted freelancers and marcomms teams to run the story ideation process, commission assignments, sequence quality control, and handle payments.
Instead of a subscription, the platform facilitates payments between clients and freelancers. It implements a small surcharge on the client-side and a small deduction for freelancers.
Clients add a balance to their ContentGrow accounts via debit, credit, or PayPal balance. They may then set their own rate per story, while curated freelancers may opt into assignments based on the rate and assignment details.
“We’ve come to understand how tech marketers see the world. We know that working on a new platform with new freelancers can be scary, especially as there’s a chance that the assigned freelancer may not be a fit for the project,” says Cosseboom. “This is why we built ContentGrow. Only writers with relevant and high-grade work samples will be allowed to work with tech companies in our ecosystem.”

- Build your first story brief (priced at SGD $75).
- Add a minimum balance of SGD $75.
- Inform the in-app chat support that you’d like to claim your free story.
- ContentGrow will then add an extra SGD $75 to your balance.
- The offer lasts until midnight on June 25, 2021.
The company boasts several big tech media and marketing companies as active clients on its platform. Prominent names include KrASIA, e27, Cision PR Newswire, South China Morning Post, and others.
“Our enterprise clients include large media organizations, creative agencies, and branded content teams. Many companies who work on our platform need some warming up and that’s okay,” adds Cosseboom. “With a free story for new clients in Singapore, we’re willing to make the first step as comfy and easy as possible.”
